Juvis Web Portal — How it Works
Last updated April 30, 2026
Overview
The Juvis Web Portal is the coaching and training management hub that connects coaches with their athletes. Coaches build video-based workout programs, run live training sessions, review recorded sets, and manage student accounts — all from a single browser window. Athletes can follow their own sessions, review past workouts, and track their rankings on the leaderboard. Sign in at the portal and navigate using the Training & Coaching menu at the top of the screen.
Prepare Coaching Video
/training/coaching-videosEverything starts with a coaching video. Open a video file from your local drive (Open), record directly from your built-in camera (Record file), or capture footage with the iPhone camera using the Capture on iPhone flow (iOS only). Once a video is loaded, use the trim handles on the filmstrip to select the exact excerpt that represents one rep or one full exercise. Check "Add 2nd Phase to Rep" to automatically append the reverse of the clip — this brings the on-screen coach back to the starting position at the end of each rep, making sure that the full set of reps shows smoothly.
Choose a video type before publishing: Single Rep videos loop once per rep during training; Full Exercise recordings cover an entire set; Explainer Videos walk the athlete through the movement without triggering a recording. Hit "Publish to Library" to make the video available for use in training programs. Name it clearly and assign it to a logical folder — the library tree on the left is how you and your athletes find content later.
Training Programs
/training/programsA training program is a saved sequence of sets, each linked to a coaching video from your library. Build one by picking a coaching video from the folder tree, then specifying: Reps (how many repetitions), Weight (total load in pounds or kilograms), Speed (playback multiplier, 0.1–5.0), Length (total set duration), a Rest duration in seconds between sets, and an optional Comment with any cue or instruction for the athlete. Programs can be saved and re-used or published so students can run them independently.
Training Session
/trainingThe Training page is where sessions happen live. Select a saved program and press Start to begin the session. The coach pane plays the coaching video so the athlete can mirror the movement; the athlete pane shows a live camera feed so the athlete can monitor form in real time. A countdown timer before each set gives the athlete time to get into position. The Training Monitor slider adjusts the coaching video volume. Check "Do not record" if you want to run through a session without saving athlete footage. Press "End / Save Session" when done — this saves the session data and all recorded clips. Both video panes include a "Full screen" button in the top-right corner for larger viewing.
Training Review
/training/reviewAfter a session, open Training Review to play back every recorded set side-by-side with its coaching video. Step through sets using the session list on the left, scrub the timeline, and use the Full screen button to examine form in detail. Sessions can be deleted here if a take needs to be discarded; deletions are reflected immediately in admin exports. Coaches working with multiple athletes can switch context using the "View as" selector in the top navigation bar: select a student to review their recordings, then switch back to yourself when done.
Exercise Records
/recordsExercise Records surfaces the video library recorded on mobile during Gym sessions, Longevity assessments, and 1RepMax assessments. Browse by exercise, date, or athlete, and play back any clip. This is distinct from training-session recordings and reflects all activity captured in the Juvis mobile apps.
Leaderboard
/leaderboardThe Leaderboard shows rankings and videos for all athletes across Longevity and 1RepMax assessments. Use it to benchmark performance, celebrate records, and motivate athletes by letting them see where they stand among peers. Use filters to show your ranking among your age group and gender.
Working with Students
To manage a student's data, use the "View as" selector in the top navigation bar and pick a student from the list. The portal switches context so that Training Review, Exercise Records, and the Leaderboard all reflect that student's data. Switch back to your own account at any time. To add a new student/trainer relationship, go to Profile → Invite Coach and enter the athlete's email address.
Profile
/profileThe Profile section covers personal information, password changes, premium subscription status, privacy settings, and support. Students use Profile → Invite Coach to invite coaches and trainers by email, allowing them access to their data.
Tips
- •Hovering over any button or field in the portal shows a short tooltip explaining what it does.
- •The portal works alongside the Juvis iOS and Android apps — videos recorded in the app appear automatically in Exercise Records, and coaching videos published in the portal are available to athletes on their device.
- •Coaching videos are stored in a folder tree you control. Use consistent naming (e.g. "Upper Body / Bicep Curl / Single Rep") so programs and athletes can find content quickly.
